Donoch’s reputation, also known as “The Board of Innis” preceded him. He knew that his mere presence was enough to make anyone on the island tremble. Yet one day, as he walked into a tavern to quench his legendary thirst, he was far from suspecting that he would rub shoulders with a worthy opponent.
After half a dozen pints of black ale, The Boar started looking for trouble and a man of medium height and brown hair who was sitting at the back of the tavern came towards him, a spark of cockiness gleaming in his eyes. The stranger drew his sword. The steel blade was mounted on a laced guard of tinted green leather and was engraved on the blade with celtic knots and four-leaf clovers, the Irish symbol of luck. The man rushed towards Donoch.
That day marked an important milestone in history: the end of the man who was called The Boar of Innis, and the beginning of the man who would later come to be known as Ulster also known as The Hound.
