Each section of the "Arthur" gambeson is stitched in a diamond-shape pattern. This allows for good mobility without reducing protection. The vest is closed by four buckles at the front. Brass eyelets line the armholes and bottom hem to which the sleeves and tassets are attached. The collar is quilted in a smaller pattern to increase comfort and agility in the neck area. The elbows are additionally padded.
This complete ”Arthur” gambeson set which includes vest, sleeves and tassets is available in black or brown.
The "Arthur" series is padded and therefore very comfortable to wear under plate armor. Of course, this fine set can also be combined with any chainmail.
