After using this sword for a long time, both in larp events and in training, I can confidently say that it is an excellent weapon.
It has a good overall blade length, with a large handle that allows for quick controlled movements.
The core is strong and for a Cali weapon, doesnt whip around as much if you pull your hit.
Very fun, and I can see myself using this blade for a long time.
Excellent quality! Can't say as to it's durability as I haven't sparred with it unfortunately. Otherwise it looks fantastic and the point of balance is nice. And I have wacked people lightly and they said it didn't hurt so that's good! All in all, pretty good.
My first larp sword I ever owned was one of these, perfect for every fight I have ever been in
I love all this scotland, so when I finally found this weapon it was a dream come true. I wish Calimacil made a scottish basket hilt broadsword. I own one of every model of their Highlander except for their earlier one. When I first got Into larp and learned about Calimacil they had a highlander that was gigantic. It matched a real claymore in every aspect except the material it was made from. Would absolutely love to see that model return. Would be amazing to see calimacil also do a scottish lowland sword.
Rien a redire de cette belle épée, étonnamment légère et maniable, je recommande
