Notwithstanding the war crimes committed by Dayless the Conqueror, there were some who still saw him as a hero and wished to remake his fallen Dawn Empire. As a sign of their loyalty and devotion, many crafted blades in the style of the conqueror’s own sword, Imperious, copying its blade and fitting it to many different styles of hilt, according to their fighting styles. One of the more common and popular versions of these swords, were those made and used by the most fanatical of the Conqueror’s adherents, the Dawnists. They came to be known as Dawn Blades, the swords that would reforge the Dawn Empire, and cut down anyone who opposed this goal, and as it turned out, even the Conqueror himself.
