Description

It is your duty as a paladin born of noble birth to provide for the less fortunate. Your family does not appreciate the needs of the poor, but you are a beacon of hope and a fighter for justice.

Dressed in your Noble Leather Couters and matching armour, you ride into town with much food for all to share. They look to you as a hero...and to be quite honest, you really do look the part.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Dark Red Noble Leather Couter is a pair of leather guards designed to protect the elbows. Molded and cut to provide the most protection to the entire elbow--including the sides and a portion of the arms--you can depend on this armour to keep you fighting. Most importantly, these couters also feature incredible details like scalloped leather, red velvet edging, and smooth leatherwork.

Made of hard full-grain leather, these armour pieces are built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather care. One leather strap is used to keep each of the Noble Leather Couters in place. Brass eyelets can be used to attach the couter firmly to a gambeson or shirt. Worn on their own or with an entire set of armour, these Noble Leather Couters are sure to add some class to your costume.

Available in colours Dark Red, Green and Epic Black; and is also available in One Size.

Natural leather products are very durable, but require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay flexible and to increase life-time. Make sure your leather products are kept dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating. If frequently wet and dry, increase frequency of maintenance.

The velvet used in this product is soft to the touch. This material also has a “wrong” and “right” side, whereas only the outside of the garment appears plush.

Cleaning

Clean by removing dirt with a hard brush, then gently rub on leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather appears clean. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth to wipe away any soap residue and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.

Velvet should be brushed and spot cleaned using warm water.

Conditioning

You should always condition leather after cleaning, since the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax polish with a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or polish in circles into the leather. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping the leather with a final clean cloth to remove any excess residue.
