The small "Wilhelm" arm shield is designed to be an upgrade for chainmail shirts. Meant to be worn just below the shoulder, this add-on can show the group’s colours, insignia or heraldry. It attaches to the upper arm with strings and can be fastened to the chainmail rings. Made of steel, it is not only an additional piece of plate armor but also another nice detail on an existing costume. This piece can also be fastened to any other existing armor or clothing so there is no absolute need for a chainmail. A gambeson is also a good foundation: just sew a leather string to the sleeve and attach the shield there!
Perfect for mercenary, scout, towns guards, or any other hero in need of a little extra protection.
