This is without a doubt a beautiful sword, but I find it unfortunately difficult to hold with the cross guards ridges coming down into the grip

On live steel replicas these partsare typically flat the the handle allowing a smooth grip. I assume the designers were forced to make adjustments to the size of the cross guard to make room for the foam blade, but perhaps something can be done to smooth the handle a little more. Just a thought, I hope this is helpful.

As a Magic player I was stoked to see this sword come out around the same time as Kaldheim (MTG's Norse/viking world). Bought one immediately (and a Norn dagger) and I couldn't be happier. The sword is weighted well and extremely sturdy. Been a fan of Calimacil for a long time & will continue to be for years to come. The Edda and the Norn are a fantastic set, and if you're thinking of cosplaying as Kaya you'll definitely want to grab a pair of Kriegers.

Amazing quality like always from Calimacil! I love the video game this sword is from and when I saw they were making them IRL I had to have Sir Radzig’s! It arrived speedily and was in safe condition inside packaging. I added a few touches of silver and gold to make the gorgeous detail stand out a little more. I haven’t whacked anything too hard with this but I can feel it is tough and endurable. Would highly recommend!

Great option for a budget chainmail

I have had my “Ragnar Chainmail” for a little over a month and it seems to be holding up well it is primarily “butted” steel mail with “Riveted” arm pits and “riveted” reinforcement in the crotch so it isn’t as strong as fully “riveted” mail but it is definitely better then the cheap butted aluminum mail you can get on eBay. You will still loose a ring or two during heavy combat but nothing like how the aluminum butted mail can be just ripped apart with your bare hands.

I am thrilled! The saber looks exactly as I imagined. Configuring it with the extended custom sworbuilder was easy. The delivery time was given with 4 - 6 weeks, since I need it inJuly and 6 weeks (with overseas deliveries to Germany) are sometimes 8 weeks, I ordered it in mid-May already. The fact that my custom sword arrived after only two weeks speaks for the professionalism of the team in every area. The quality and resilience of the weapons is outstanding and the rather clunky blade shapes of the early years are history.

Calimacil and the extra mile

I ordered the two handed version 9 days ago and it arrived today - yes, it only took 9 days of shipping from Canada to southern germany, I'm kind of baffled.The quality of the weapon itself is just wonderful. The foam is harder than your usual foam which means its way, way more durable but when hitting, you should decelerate your hits accordingly. Also, I asked them if it would be possible to remove the seams from the forming process and told them that I'd happily throw in another $5 for them to do it since I don't have the tools to do that myself. And guess what? They did remove *all* the seams without extra charge. That's customer service, thats quality, that's the extra mile.
